Founder and CEO of Danièle Henkel Entreprises
By awarding her the medal of the Knight of the Order of Merit of France in 2017, the Mayor of Paris, the Honorable Anne Hidalgo, in a well-crafted formula and of her own, said of Mrs. Danièle Henkel that she is “l ‘uniqueness in universality’.
Indeed, Danièle Henkel is a businesswoman and an entrepreneur, who has imposed her mark both by her personality and her multiple achievements.
Founder and CEO of Daniele Henkel Entreprises , she markets avant-garde and non-invasive technologies for medical aesthetic centers. In addition, as a brand, she develops franchises and offers medico-aesthetic express services and a range of cosmetic products.
Just recently, she launched a digital television platform, danielehenkel.tv, entirely dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized businesses and offering visibility to entrepreneurs in the regions.
As a speaker, Danièle Henkel lends her voice to many causes around the world: social entrepreneurship, education, succession, social skills, health, human and ethical values in business, just to name a few.
In addition, she devotes herself to the mission of forging a stronger and more open Quebec on the world. As a passionate holder of women’s entrepreneurship and women’s financial emancipation, she does not hesitate to invest, finance and support companies in which she believes, as she did during 5 seasons of the show “In the Dragons’ Den”.
As a hard worker , Danièle Henkel remains very attached to her roots and family values. “My greatest achievement, she likes to say, is my family. I am a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 6 grandchildren. I did not just create a family business; I introduced my family into a business “.
Although she is a very seasoned and highly sought after businesswoman, she remains very human, very authentic and very easy to access. In this respect, she candidly admits that “fear and doubt are her most faithful companions”. Her atypical and improbable personal story, in two autobiographical works, “When Intuition Traces the Road” and “At the Heart of My Values,” printed in more than 70,000 copies in Quebec alone, continues to inspire many generations men and women to turn their personal crises into opportunities.
In her capacity as manager, Mrs. Henkel sits on several boards of directors or consultative bodies of private, public, parapublic or paramunicipal bodies. She was, in particular, the President of the Board of Directors of Parc JeanDrapeau, a unique organization in the world.
